The existing site for this 2 storey end of terrace house in South West London was irregular in shape which presented an awkward and claustrophobic internal living arrangement.

The client's brief was to maximise the use of space and provide a good level of natural light in the living areas.

The proposal enlarged the ground floor space for an open plan living arrangement on a split level. The plan provides strong visual connections to the garden at the rear of the property. The remainder of the house was refurbished with consideration given to maximising space for storage.
