Red Squirrel were recently commissioned design a concept house for a family home with luxurious hosting facilities on this beautiful Island.

The progressive thinking Client's brief boasts a wealth of ideas which cater both for family aspirations & business needs. These include a professional recording studio at basement level with views into the 21m swimming pool which 'flows' beyond the main living space.

At first floor level, the sleeping accommodation is serviced by two feature stairs and is linked via a gantry with views down into the main living space and pool area. Separate office accommodation will be provided at sub-ground level with parking facilities for prospective clients.

Emphasis will be placed on the use of local materials, the collection and redistribution of energy and water. Rain water will be used for re-filtration into the pool, kitchen & washroom facilities. Natural ventilation methods will be adopted to distribute air through the building and photo voltaic cells will collect solar energy at roof level.
