This existing cattle market site, located within a conservation area has been ear-marked for redevelopment as part of the 'Rejuvenate Wensleydale Scheme'
The proposal, submitted in conjunction with Arts Architecture, takes its inspiration from a monastic refectory style of architecture.
The design provides a visitor centre on 2 levels for exhibitions; 4 live/ work units; a flexible cinema space with retractable bleacher style seating; and an octagonal refectory space. The scheme also provides 100 parking spaces.
