philosophyStage E – Technical Design
Elements of the technical design and methods of construction are agreed at this stage. Room data schedules and outline technical specifications are compiled. Typically submissions to statutory bodies such as Building Control and utility companies are made at this stage.
Stage F – Production Information
Detailed information is produced to enable tenders to be obtained at the next stage. The information typically includes drawings, schedules, and specifications. For a design & build form of procurement the stage F information would generally be produced by the Contractor based on a set of Employer’s Requirements compiled at Stage D or E.
