In the summer of 2014, Red Squirrel Architects – alongside other professionals – took part in an urban design workshop to look at the town centre of Forest Hill. The objective was to help develop a “community led vision for change and action; and to develop creative ideas for making the town centre a better place”. RSA were part of the group looking at the Perry Vale area of Forest Hill. A report – containing the studies and proposals for each of the above 4 areas – was compiled by Beep Studios on behalf of the Forest Hill Society. This report can be found here. Eventually it is hoped that the work will inform the production of a new vision for the Forest Hill area.
